Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information the ANIA TV app collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding it. ANIA TV is available on Android, Android TV, Windows, and LG webOS TVs.
1. What we collect
- Device identifier. On first launch, the app generates a unique device ID for your device. This ID is used only to manage your trial/subscription activation — it does not contain personal information and is not linked to your name or contact details unless you choose to share them with us directly (for example, when contacting support to activate a purchased plan).
- Activation status. We store the activation/subscription status (trial, active, expired) tied to your device ID on our activation server, so the app can verify access each time it opens.
- IP address. Like virtually any internet-connected app, our activation server automatically records the IP address of requests it receives, for basic security and abuse prevention. We do not use it for tracking or advertising.
- Playlist settings. If you add your own IPTV playlist (M3U URL or Xtream Codes credentials), that information is stored locally on your device so the app can reload your channels. It is only sent to your own IPTV provider, not to ANIA TV's servers — except where an administrator has assigned a managed playlist to your device through our admin panel, in which case the playlist URL is delivered to your device from our server.
- Favorites. Channels you mark as favorites are stored locally on your device only.
2. What we do not do
- We do not show advertising and do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
- We do not collect your name, email, or payment details through the app itself.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
3. Third-party content
ANIA TV is a media player. The channels, movies, and series you watch come from the playlist you provide (your own IPTV subscription or a playlist assigned to your device by an administrator). ANIA TV does not host, produce, or control this content, and is not responsible for it.
4. Data retention
Activation records tied to your device ID are kept for as long as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your device's activation record at any time by contacting us with your Device ID (shown in the app's Settings screen).
5. Children's privacy
ANIA TV is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
